How We Respond to Copyright Complaints

We aim to review copyright infringement notices as promptly as reasonably possible.

After receiving a complaint, we may examine the information provided, request clarification or additional documentation, and take appropriate action based on the circumstances.

Where a valid notification establishes a basis for removal under applicable law, we will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the material, as required.

Submitting a notification does not automatically guarantee the removal of content. Each complaint will be assessed according to the information provided and applicable legal requirements.

Counter-Notification Process

If content has been removed or disabled because of a copyright complaint, and you believe this occurred due to a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification where the applicable law permits.

A counter-notification under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g) must include:

  1. Your Signature Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the Removed Material A description of the content that was removed or disabled, including its original location before removal.
  3. Statement of Good Faith A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed or disabled because of a mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your Contact Details Your full name, mailing address, and telephone number. Please also provide your email address to facilitate communication.
  5. Jurisdiction and Service of Process A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate United States Federal District Court as specified under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3), and agreeing to accept service of process from the original complainant or their representative.

When the statutory DMCA counter-notification process applies, a compliant counter-notification may be forwarded to the original complainant. The material may be restored after the applicable statutory waiting period, generally 10–14 business days, unless we receive notice of qualifying legal action or other applicable restrictions.

False or Misleading Copyright Claims

Important Notice

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), knowingly and materially misrepresenting that content is infringing, or that content was removed by mistake, may result in legal liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.

We ask that all copyright complaints and counter-notifications be submitted honestly, accurately, and in good faith.

Repeat Infringement Policy

Achoora Ltd does not support repeated violations of intellectual property rights.

Where applicable, we maintain a policy for addressing repeat infringement and may suspend or terminate access or business relationships with users, contributors, or partners who repeatedly infringe copyright, in appropriate circumstances.
